The First Responder Cup is contested under a single champion model. One team holds the Cup at any time and defends it in official championship matches.
Challengers are decided by results, not by preference. Ranked teams compete in contender matches, and the winner earns the title opportunity.
When a challenger wins, the Cup changes hands and the former champion returns to the rankings.
